Tony Khan teases that there will be major news on the April 5 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Khan, the CEO of AEW, has a history of making "huge" announcements. In 2022, Khan hyped up one such announcement and subsequently revealed that he had acquired Ring of Honor on the March 2 episode of AEW Dynamite. Now it appears that Khan has something big lined up.
During the media call ahead of ROH Supercard of Honor, Khan said multiple times that he'll have a huge announcement on the April 5 episode of AEW Dynamite. He noted that it would be exciting news.

Other examples of Khan's huge announcements include the signing of former WWE star Christian Cage and the premiere of AEW's reality show, AEW All Access.
On March 3, Khan tweeted that 2023 will be AEW's biggest year yet, and he stated that he would have "major announcements" coming soon.
