Tony Khan Open To Killer Kross Coming Into AEW At Some Point

Tony Khan comments on Killer Kross possibly joining AEW.

Fightful Select reported on May 25 that Kross "was approached for the match against Wardlow. However, we're told the two sides couldn't come to terms for the appearance and decided against it."

Grudge Match Added To Monday's WWE Raw

Appearing on In The Kliq, Khan was asked about AEW's interest in Kross.

"I had talked to Killer Kross before. He's a great guy. I love his voice, he's got a great voice. He's a great wrestler, a big, powerful, and fearsome guy. I am interested in him. He does great work and he's a nice guy. I would be open to him coming in at some point," he said.

The Fightful Select report also stated, "Where we've heard that talks fell apart was as the date got closer, Kross became aware that his wife Scarlett would not be a part of the presentation in All Elite Wrestling. Kross was concerned that his introduction to the AEW audience would mimic that of his WWE debut against Jeff Hardy, as opposed to the successful NXT formula that helped lead him to two NXT Championships."

Kross was reportedly in talks to appear at ROH Supercard of Honor as well.

Wardlow was victorious in his bout against W. Morrissey. Kross has worked for various promotions since being released by WWE, including MLW.
