Many fans have been speculating as to where the 'SuperBad Girl' Penelope Ford has been after a quiet 2022 in AEW to this point. Ford has only been involved in two matches so far this year and has been missing from AEW television for quite some time now.
Penelope Ford had a match on AEW Rampage in a 6-women tag match at the beginning of January and a match a few nights later on AEW Dark, both of which ended in a victory for Ford. She has not been in an AEW match since January 15, 2022.
On Twitter, a fan had poked at Tony Khan about giving up on Penelope Ford already. This led to Tony Khan responding and giving a bit of an update on Ford. Tony appears to tell the fan that he absolutely has not given up on Ford and is just waiting for her to be medically cleared to compete so that she can be a part of many more classic matches.

Fans will have to await Penelope Ford being cleared by medical before seeing her return to AEW programming. We wish Penelope Ford the best in whatever injury that she may be recovering from.
