Tony Khan Says The 'Delete The Elite' Vignettes Raise Questions About Death Triangle

Tony Khan comments on the "Delete The Elite" vignettes.

The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson) haven't been seen on AEW TV since All Out 2021. There, they beat Hangman Page, John Silver, and Alex Reynolds to win the AEW World Trios Championships. But after a reported brawl with CM Punk after the show, the trio was pulled from TV. In recent weeks, vignettes teasing their return have aired on AEW Dynamite, and some of them have included clips of Death Triangle (PAC, Rey Fenix, and Penta El Zero Miedo).

Speaking with DAZN, Khan briefly shared his thoughts on the vignettes and noted that they raise questions about Death Triangle, the reigning AEW Trios Champions. They won the gold after Omega and The Young Bucks were stripped of the titles, so fans have speculated that a potential battle between the two teams is on the horizon.

“It raises some questions about Death Triangle and what The Elite are trying to say in these videos," Khan said, seemingly noting that Omega and the Young Bucks are behind the vignettes from a storyline perspective.

As for a potential clash between The Elite and Death Triangle, Khan noted that it'll be interesting to see where the Trios Titles stand coming out of Wednesday's episode of AEW Dynamite and heading into Full Gear on Saturday. He stated that it will be a fluid situation.

Matt Hardy previously stated that Omega and the Bucks didn't do anything wrong. Check out his comments here.
