Tony Khan is confident that AEW will score a touchdown.

During the AEW All Out post-show media scrum, Corey Lieb of the Wrestling Observer asked Tony Khan about AEW's media rights negotiations with Warner Brothers Discovery after Khan said that AEW was at the one-yard line in the most important time in their history.

"We’re still in very very close and exciting negotiations with Warner Brothers Discovery. It’s been going on throughout the summer that we’ve been having these conversations. It’s a very detailed package that we’re having discussions about," Khan said.

Khan also brought up his comments following the September 6th taping of AEW Rampage; he had told the live crowd that it was safe to say that AEW was here to stay on TNT and TBS. Khan reiterated that he believed that AEW was here to stay on TNT and TBS. However, he said that he was still working on things, and he had not put pen to paper.

"I said, “I think it’s safe to say, I believe AEW is here to stay on TNT and TBS.' I think that’s true for a very long time and I believe it. I have not put pen to paper. I’m still working on things. It’s an exciting time, without getting too specific, but while giving everybody that anticipation of things to come. There are really exciting things to come for AEW," Khan said.

When asked for a percentage on a deal being announced in the next month, Khan responded by saying, “90 percent."

Khan later added, "I’m 100% confident the ball is going in the end zone."
