Tony Khan remains interested in the WWE sale process.
WWE is engaged with outside advisors to review strategic alternatives in relation to upcoming media rights negotiations. One strategic alternative is a potential sale of the company, which would happen before media rights deals for WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown are locked in. Nick Khan recently stated that a sale could happen quickly, possibly within the next three months.
Speaking to Mark Hoke on the Mark Hoke Show, Tony Khan was asked about his interest in the WWE sale process.
"I don't know exactly what will happen there. I've been told, and I think they've said publicly, that there may be a sale process. If there is a sale process, certainly I'm interested in it and potentially being involved in it. We'll have to see what that process is, and who exactly they'll let get involved in it. Certainly, I'm interested in it very much," he said.
With reports of Vince McMahon looking to sell WWE, it was reported that Tony & Shad Khan were "in the pool of" potential suitors.
Tony runs AEW and ROH while his dad owns Fulham FC and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
