Trent Beretta keeps the love of his best friend and walks away with a new family in the process.
Don Callis said that he was going to offer a contract to join the Don Callis family and while it appeared he brought Orange Cassidy out to the ring on the May 29 episode of AEW Dynamite, Cassidy's rejection of the offer turned into a net positive for Don Callis and the actual new member of his family, Trent Beretta.
Beretta actually accepted the offer via Kris Statlander. The newly turned heel came out with Stokely Hathaway and revealed that her best friend accepted Don's offer, that's when Trent attacked Cassidy from behind and didn't stop attacking him until he was bloodied. He then gave Don Callis a big hug and they continued the assault.
