Trent Seven wants to play his part.
Eight-year veteran of the pro wrestling industry and former NXT Tag Team Champion Trent Seven is looking forward to playing his part in the growth and development of the NXT U.K. brand. The first set of television tapings for the brand's show took place last month and over the next 48 hours, two more sets of tapings will take place in Birmingham, England which will feature Seven's partner Tyler Bate, Toni Storm, the WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne, Zack Gibson and many others.
'The Sun' recently interviewed Tyler Bate to promote the NXT U.K. TV tapings and they also interviewed the other-half of Mustache Mountain, Trent Seven. During their discussion with "The Don" he stated that he and Tyler still have their eyes locked on those NXT Tag Team Championships that they failed to capture at TakeOver: Brooklyn IV and Seven also offered his thoughts on the NXT U.K. brand.
“The NXT Tag Titles are still firmly in our sights. We’ve held them once, and what a privilege it was winning them at the Royal Albert Hall, a moment we’ll never forget." Seven said. "We’ve got a taste for the gold now and we’ll definitely continue to try and chase it. We’re big strong boys and we’ll come back. Performing in Brooklyn has only ignited the fire. We have a lot on our plates in the U.S. and building this brand, but the goal is to make this as big as we can. At the moment we have a real intimate relationship with the product as far as the size of the crowds goes, but as that builds hopefully one day we can look to do stadiums and much bigger venues. I can definitely foresee a major WWE event coming to the British Isles in the very near future. So if we keep working hard and impressing we can play a part in that as it would be incredible.” He stated.
TakeOver: Brooklyn IV was one week ago today and if you were not able to tune into the show, head over to Fightful's coverage article of the event to read about what went down in the B.K. on August 18th.
