NXT announced that Trick Williams will address the NXT Universe on the October 8th episode of NXT, which will be held in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Williams defeated Ethan Page to win the NXT Championship in the main event of the October 1st episode of NXT.

NXT also announced that fans would hear from NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade. Jade returned on the October 1st episode and helped Perez beat Giulia to retain her title.
