Trick Williams highlights how Booker T has helped him.
Trick Williams has become the face of NXT, and he is now a two-time NXT Champion. He won the title for the second time by beating Ethan Page on the October 1st episode of NXT. Throughout his rise in NXT, WWE Hall of Famer and NXT commentator Booker T has somewhat become part of his presentation, as he ad-libs during his entrance. Williams has previously commented on how Booker T has been a mentor to him as well.
Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Trick Williams commented on working with Booker T.
"He's another guy who's been just so helpful to me. We see the ad libs and everything he does with the entrance, but behind the scenes, we break down film. He says, 'See that step right there? Get rid of that.' We are talking about skill and why I'm getting better. It's people like Booker T's, people like Shawn Michaels, people like Matt Bloom and, of course, Terry Taylor, who I train with every day. But these guys definitely," Trick Williams said.
