Trick Williams came to WWE SmackDown, saving Carmelo Hayes from an attack by Grayson Waller and Austin Theory.
Hayes had just lost to Theory when Waller & Theory continued the attack. Trick's music hit and he helped his Dusty Rhodes Classic Tag Team partner, running off Theory & Waller.

This was Trick's first appearance on WWE SmackDown. Hayes has been consistently on SmackDown and NXT ever since taking part in the US Title Top Contender tournament at the end of 2023.
Williams & Hayes are set to team in the semi-finals of Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic against Joaquin Wild & Cruz Del Toro on the January 30 episode of NXT.
