Trick Williams closes a chapter.
Trick Williams' bitter rivalry with his former friend and tag team partner Carmelo Hayes previously came to a head at NXT Stand & Deliver. There, Williams defeated Hayes in the main event. However, they clashed in a rematch on the April 16 episode of NXT after Hayes attacked Trick on April 9.
Hayes tried to cheat his way to victory, as a member of his security team gave him a billy club, and he hit Trick with it. The former NXT Champion grounded Williams and slammed him into the cage wall. Williams rallied with a Rock Bottom from the wall of the cage. He then slammed Hayes into the steel.

The two foes kept battling back and forth. Williams again slammed Hayes into the cage wall. He fended off interference from Hayes' security team. One member of the group entered the cage, and Williams took him out. Hayes went for a chair shot, but Williams dodged it and hit the Trick Shot Knee for the win.
After the match, Williams climbed onto the top of the cage and stared down NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov. Williams will challenge Dragunov for the title on the first night of NXT Spring Breakin'.
EVERYTHING is on the line next week...
