Trick Williams calls Ethan Page an imposter.
At NXT Heatwave earlier this year, Ethan Page was able to capture the NXT Championship from Trick Williams in a fatal four way match that also featured Je'Von Evans and Shawn Spears. Page has successfully held onto the title, and will meet Trick in singles action for the title next week.
While speaking to PX11 News in a recent interview, Trick was asked about his upcoming NXT Title challenge on the CW premiere of NXT.
"That's right. Ethan Page is what I like to call a impostor. He came to our brand probably three to four months ago, and he stole my title. Now it's retribution time. We're gonna see him in Chicago on October 1st, and it's a title match. This is the debut of our CW premiere, so I have everything on the line, everything to gain. I'm the man to represent NXT, and I'm ready to prove that October 1st."
