Triple H addresses the controversy.
Gunther won the WWE King of the Ring tournament at WWE King and Queen of the Ring, defeating Randy Orton in the finals. The match was not without controversy though as Orton's shoulder was clearly up as the referee counted to three.
In a backstage interview, Triple H said that he saw the replay, and it was clear that Orton's shoulder was up. However, he said the referee's decision is final.
Triple H did note that he would love to see Orton vs. Gunther again, and he believes that Gunther would like to have a rematch to erase any doubt. He did say Orton is still banged up from the match and no official rematch was made.
