A trio you'd never thought you'd see were formed tonight during WWE's European tour.
Triple H, donning the Shield riot gear, joined forces with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose to take on Bray Wyatt, Cesaro and Sheamus in six man action. Before the match started, Rollins, who had a heated feud with Triple H earlier this year, gave him the vest to wear during the bout and cut a promo saying that "I had to make a call I never thought I would make. Desperate times. Always have a plan B".
The trio went on to defeat their opposition, pinning Cesaro after a triple powerbomb, the Shield's signature move.
Triple H is set to wrestle during the European tour through November 5th. This all comes after Roman Reigns suffered from the case of mumps and was pulled from the tour when he wasn't cleared on time. Triple H made his return to in ring action very recently, having defeated Rusev at a live event in Santiago, Chile following a brief Kevin Owens absence.
