The title looks like it was shot right out of a 1960's time machine.
During a recent episode of NXT TV, NXT GM William Regal teased that there would be an announcement that would shake the very foundation of NXT. That announcement would come in the form of alerting fans and the NXT talent roster that a new championship was on the horizon. The title is called the 'NXT North American Championship' and a winner is soon to be crowned this upcoming Saturday.
The NXT North American Championship will be suspended above the ring in a Ladder match as: EC3, Ricochet, Adam Cole, Velveteen Dream, Lars Sullivan, and Killian Dane fight tooth and nail at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans to be called the first-ever champion of said title.
