Triple H says WWE Royal Rumble in Indianapolis was a remarkable success.
WWE Royal Rumble 2025 emanated from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, on February 1st. Heading into the show, over 60,000 fans were expected to be in attendance.
At the WWE Royal Rumble Post-Show, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H highlighted the success of the event and noted that it drew the third-largest gate in WWE history. He announced 70,347 fans as the attendance, though 65,470 was the listed number.
Triple H also said that this was the highest-grossing Royal Rumble in history. He stated that, for a single event, it was the largest gate WWE has ever done. Triple H additionally said that they set records for merchandise and sponsorship, while the early read on viewing domestically and internationally is “incredibly strong.”
During WWE Royal Rumble, the broadcast team noted that the gate was only behind WWE WrestleMania XL Night One and WrestleMania XL Night Two.
