Triple H is conflicted about NXT's hour-long restrictions.
In an interview with ESPN, Triple H was asked about the one-hour format for NXT's weekly show. Triple H said the format is beneficial because some fans are watching over five hours of WWE programming each week but there are times he wished there was more room on the show.
"I run into things, for me, when we're scripting out weekly episodes of NXT, it's like, 'Oh, man, I'd really like to debut this person, or do this thing with this new character, or help get a persona going or something, and I don't have the room to do it. There's a fine line between that and leaving them wanting more, so it's a balance," said Triple H.
This past Saturday was NXT Takeover: Chicago which did not have Adam Cole or EC3 on the card. Triple H said even with the longer Takeover specials it is important to know what to leave off the show in order to bring it back for the next Takeover event.
