Triple H talks talent asking for their release.
Throughout 2019, many WWE superstars have publically asked for their release from the company. Recently, Sin Cara, ACH (Jordan Myles), and Mike Kanellis have taken to social media to declare that they would like to leave WWE. Thus far, none of the three have been granted their release.
And Triple H believes they are going about it the wrong way.
There's a lot of times where some of it is legit. Some of it, in a moment of time -- when you get to the bottom of it, I don't understand people air...if you have an issue, talk to us. If you think 'I'm gonna go put that on the media,' that's not the way to do your business," Triple H said on the NXT TakeOver: WarGames III media call. "If I had a complaint about the talent, I don't go on Twitter and complain to them. I speak to them. I've never understood that process; if it's legit. There are a lot of people out there just getting clicks. 'Let's throw a headline on something, hey, watch this, I'm gonna break the Internet.' I watch guys do it all the time. Sometimes, I wish they wouldn't. Sometimes, they just think it's funny. There's a moment in time where they hit something and it gets them a ton of buzz and they go, 'I'm just messing with people.'"
He continued, "There's also a moment in time where things happen, people get frustrated, they say some stuff. It's like any long-term relationship. You say some stuff like 'I don't want to see you anymore' and you come back a few minutes later, 'I was just mad at the moment. Of course, I want to stay in this relationship.' There's a silliness to it. To me, there's a maturity issue of; that's not how you handle business. Anybody who's out there, that is serious about it, that's talking about it on the Internet, that ain't the place to do it. We all have cellphones. You meet, you handle your business like a professional. Everybody wants to say 'professional wrestler,' the keyword in front of that is 'professional.' That's what we're trying to change about the business is to make people more professional."
WWE reportedly tried to help ACH before he went on social media and quit WWE, but he went missing from Orlando. ACH clarified that while he did quit, he is still under contract to the promotion. You can read a recap of ACH's social media Q&A by clicking here.
