Here we go...
This past June during the WWE United Kingdom Championship tournament tapings at Royal Albert Hall in London, it was announced by NXT founder and senior producer Triple H that WWE was going to be launching its very own brand based in the United Kingdom. In the press release concerning the breaking news of the newest brand set to be added to the WWE banner, a number of dates and locations were listed which was the information about where and when the NXT U.K. TV tapings were going to be held. Also, it was noted within the presser that the WWE United Kingdom Championship will be a part of the brand as well as the NXT U.K. Tag Team Championships and a NXT U.K. Women's Championship that has already been unveiled.
As of this writing the second set of tapings for the NXT U.K. TV show are underway in Birmingham, England. The previous set of tapings took place last month in Cambridge and by the end of this weekend, a first-ever NXT U.K. Women's Champion will be crowned. The NXT U.K. women's division features the likes of Toni Storm, Jinny, Isla Dawn, Millie McKenzie, Nina Samuels, Dakota Kai, Rhea Ripley and Xia Brookside and they will all be competing for this prize that was unveiled to the world earlier today by Triple H.
