Trish Stratus is open to returning to WWE as long as it's the right creative decision that can Stratusfy the WWE Universe.
Trish Stratus returned to WWE in 2023 for an extended run which included a match at WrestleMania and a program with Becky Lynch that culminated in Stratus' first Steel Cage Match at WWE Payback.
WWE is looking to return to Trish's hometown of Toronto for the 2024 WWE Money in the Bank event. During a recent interview with Alex McCarthy of Inside of the Ropes, Stratus noted that she's open to returning to the ring once again as long as it provides a unique story for the audience and she can still go at a level that is acceptable to her and lives up to her prior body of work.
"I always say if I can check all these boxes. If I can add something different, make something interesting with a unique approach to different characters, then I’ll do it," she said. " I also say, as long as I can go 100%. I’m never gonna come back and be like, ‘Listen, I’m gonna do this, but I’m only at like 60%, so I’m gonna do only like half my moves.’ I’m not gonna do that. I want to give you 100%. I never know until I get in.
“If the call comes, I’ll have to check those boxes," she added. "Can I still go? I’ll get in the ring, I’ll see where I’m at, and then see what the idea is. It’s always about creative and making sure that it’s something that will Stratusfy the fans and be something exciting and different.”
