Tyler Bate And Trent Seven Reflect On Their Feud With The Undisputed ERA

It is not over by a long shot.

The feud between the current NXT Tag Team Champions The Undisputed ERA and 'Mustache Mountain' (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) is far from over. It all began last year during an episode of NXT TV whe ERA were making their stamp on the NXT brand. Fast forward one year later and that very energy has transferred over into the two teams' current feud. During the 2018 WWE United Kingdom Championship tournament two-day special, Tyler Bate and Trent Seven defeated Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong for the NXT Tag Titles inside of the historic 'Royal Albert Hall'. During the set of NXT TV tapings coming out of Seven and Bate's title win, O'Reilly and Strong won the straps back and at TakeOver: Brooklyn IV the two teams clashed once again in the opening match of the event which saw The Undisputed ERA retain their titles.

Although Bate and Seven lost the most recent battle, they feel that the war is far from over with The Undisputed ERA. Neil Docking of Mirror Sport had the opportunity to speak with 'Mustache Mountain' ahead of the the second set of this weekend's NXT U.K. TV tapings in Birmingham and both men (mainly Trent Seven) opened up about the feud with the current NXT Tag Team Champions and putting on great matches with them as well.

Trent Seven: "Oh yeah, very much so, it's been quite the test. They are two of the best performers on the planet right now. They have had those titles for a long time so just to snatch them out of their grasp at the Royal Albert Hall was victory enough, but unfortunately we fell a little bit short in Brooklyn. But we have been very pleased with the reception to the matches."

Tyler Bate"Thank you". [To the interviewer for a compliment about the matches with ERA]

Trent Seven: "Thank you very much. We were very happy with the performance but the result was a bit short for us so we're going to be putting work in practice to make sure we come back stronger than ever."
