Tyler Bate is coming back to WWE NXT.
As announced on the "New Year's Evil" special on January 10, the former NXT UK Champion will return to NXT next week. He hasn't competed on the show since he lost to JD McDonagh on the September 20 episode of NXT.
A vignette on Tuesday hyped up his return to the brand after he took some time away. Bate stated that he's here to stay this time.

Plus, Apollo Crews and Axiom will join forces to face Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams. The two sides have been feuding in recent weeks. Hayes defeated Crews on the January 3 episode of NXT, while Axiom picked up the win against Williams on the same show.
Additionally, Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen will seek revenge when they face Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang). Gallus returned to NXT on Tuesday and attacked Briggs and Jensen so they could replace them in a Gauntlet Match against Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson & Elton Prince). Gallus then defeated the former champions, and they will aim to gain more momentum next week.
The card for Tuesday's episode of NXT is as follows:
NXT (1/17)
- Tyler Bate returns
- Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams vs. Apollo Crews & Axiom
- Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen vs. Gallus
Fightful will have coverage of NXT as it airs on Tuesday.
