TNA Wrestling announced that Ultimate X will return at TNA Emergence on August 30th.
Competitors for the bout were not announced.

The last Ultimate X match took place at TNA Hard To Kill when Knockouts Gisele Shaw, Xia Brookside, Jody Threat, Tasha Steelz, Alisha Edwards, and Dani Luna competed to earn a shot at the TNA Knockouts Championship.
The last male Ultimate X match happened at TNA iMPACT! 1000 in September 2023 with Alan Angels defeating Zachary Wentz, Mike Bailey, Rich Swann, Ace Austin, and Samuray Del Sol to earn a shot at the TNA X-Division Championship.
The last Ultimate X match for a title took place between Bullet Club (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) against The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley) at TNA Rebellion 2023.
