The Undertaker says three hours is a long time.
WWE Raw's three-hour length has been the point of criticism for a long time now, even with the product drawing plenty of praise since Triple H took over. WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker was still active when Raw switched to three hours in 2012, but he still can't quite believe the show is so long.
Speaking on his Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker commented on attending WWE SummerSlam. He recalled sitting backstage with Triple H at the following taping of WWE Raw and joking about the show's length.
“I saw Paul, Triple H, at the end of the night. That’s a lot of wrestling for be to attend on my schedule these days. I went up to him, gave him a hug. Told him bye. I said, ‘Alright, I’ll see you at ‘Mania.’ [Laughs] He got what I was saying. The whole time I sat up at Gorilla Position with Paul and Bruce Prichard and then myself, we’re sitting up there. I was like, ‘This show’s really three hours long?’ I know it is, but I was just like, when you guys go to Netflix, is this show gonna cut back down to two hours? Three hours, why three hours? [Laughs] It’s been three hours forever now, but I was just kind of trying to stress the point of three hours is a lot of wrestling on a Monday night," The Undertaker said.
