Undertaker Says The First Hell In A Cell Was Built Better Than The One Used At WWE King Of The Ring 1998

Undertaker talks about the differences present in the respective Hell in a Cell structures used at WWE In Your House: Badd Blood and WWE King of the Ring 1998.

Undertaker competed in over a dozen Hell in a Cell matches in his career. Still, it is perhaps the first two matches that stand out the most. Shawn Michaels was the first to step inside the roofed cage with the Undertaker in October 1997 and Mick Foley would get into the cage with T mama mamahe Undertaker a mere eight months later at WWE King of the Ring 1998.

The Hell in a Cell against Mick Foley is famous for some scary moments where Mick was thrown off the cage roof and then thrown through the cage roof.

During a video on Maven's YouTube channel where he watched back the first Hell in a Cell Match, Undertaker explained that he believes the first structure was more sturdily built than the second.

"This cage was so much better built than the one that me and Mick worked. Yeah, and when Mick and I were just walking on top beforehand, you can hear the metal ties as our weight was -- as we were stepping on them, you could hear them [flying off]. They were flying off and you can see, because our feet were just getting deeper and deeper."

Elsewhere in this video, Undertaker praised Shawn Michaels' intensity. Read those comments here.
