Undisputed ERA Says Their Goal At TakeOver: Blackpool & Worlds Collide Was To Elevate Imperium

At Worlds Collide, despite being a man down, Imperium still managed to defeat Undisputed ERA in a wild brawl. In the grand scheme of things, Adam Cole and his quartet might have actually won, as they claim their goal when invading the UK was to make Imperium’s stock rise.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Adam Cole said they will never forget the vibe in the audience when they invaded NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II, praising the unique energy the UK audience brings and talking up the element of surprise in wrestling.

“With Blackpool, that was one of those moments that you remember forever. We never lose sight on stuff like this,” Cole began. “I love surprises in wrestling, that’s one of my favorite things. So to be involved in something where everyone in that building had no idea we were there and then we showed up, then there’s that reaction like ‘oh my god, they’re here’ and they’re really excited – that’s one of the coolest things.”

Continuing on, Roderick Strong would say that the ability to help elevate other superstars means a lot to him end it's really special to be in the position that the NXT foursome has worked themselves into the position of being in.

“Just the opportunity to have the match. Imperium has been doing great over in NXT UK, but it was kind of an opportunity to raise their stock against us and that’s special,” Strong said. “Those kinds of moments mean a lot to me. Where we can help elevate these guys as well because we’re in that position. You know, being in the position that we’re in is great, but what we can do with the ‘power’ of it is what is really freaking cool.”
