As of now, NXT won't be airing on USA Network on Wednesday, September 2.
The current lineup on the USA Network schedule shows NHL Hockey airing at 8 p.m. ET on September 2 with NXT scheduled to air on Tuesday, September 1 at 8 p.m. ET.
WWE and NXT haven't officially confirmed the move. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer first noted the change.
The NHL playoff schedule beyond round one is not out yet. It is unknown if the NHL playoffs will affect future NXT dates.
AEW is dealing with schedule changes due to the playoffs as well with Dynamite not airing on Wednesday this week due to the NBA playoffs. A new episode of AEW Dynamite will air Saturday, August 22. Dynamite will not air on Wednesday, August 26 either due to the NBA playoffs. The episode will instead air on Thursday, August 27. Dynamite will air in its normal Wednesday spot on September 2.
