Vic Joseph makes his debut on WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
With Joe Tessitore calling Top Rank Boxing's event on ESPN, Vic Joseph received a special Valentine's Day gift and debuted as a play-by-play announcer for WWE Friday Night SmackDown. Joseph also reunited with Wade Barrett, his former color commentator on NXT.
Vic Joseph has been with WWE since 2017. While he has been primarily the play-by-play analyst for NXT, he briefly served as the main announcer on WWE Raw in 2019 when Paul Heyman was briefly the show's Executive Director.
In the past, Booker T, Joseph's current commentary partner on NXT, has said that he's rooting for Joseph to get a long-term run on the main roster. Read more here.
