Vickie Guerrero and her husband Kris Benson are denying the sexual assault allegations against Kris by Vickie's daughter Sherilyn Guerrero.
On April 4, Sherilyn Guerrero, the daughter of Eddie and Vickie Guerrero, claimed that her stepfather Kris Benson sexually assaulted her. Sherilyn said, "Come 2020, right before COVID, there was a cruise that my family went on and basically, on this cruise, I got sexually assaulted. The unfortunate part is that it was my stepdad. Yeah, it was my stepdad. Was I the only one? No, but that’s not my business to put their story out there, but it happened to me.”
Vickie responded shortly after to the allegations and said that her relationship with Sherilyn has been hostile for years and that she has tried to take her to therapy on numerous occasions to deal with her behavior. Guerrero also accused Sherilyn of being drunk on the cruise she claimed she was assaulted on. At the time, the allegations were never denied.
In a new statement put out by their lawyer, Vickie and Kris have denied the allegations.
Guerrero was recently removed from the AEW roster. It was agreed that her contract was not going to be renewed when it expired in July 2023. News of her departing the company was reported on before the allegations came out.
