Vikingo suffered an apparent injury at the TNA iMPACT! tapings on October 27.
El Hijo Del Vikingo faced off against Trent Seven at the tapings and suffered a leg injury on a dive to the outside. The match was stopped and Vikingo was taken off on a stretcher.

Vikingo was sidelined from February to September with a knee injury. He competed against "Speedball" Mike Bailey at TNA Bound For Glory.
