On December 26th, the wrestling world was shocked by the tragic news of Jon Huber's (Brodie Lee/Luke Harper) passing.
His wife Amanda released a post a message online where she revealed that it was due to a "hard-fought battle with a non-COVID related lung issue."
The outpouring of love in the time since has been remarkable, and the messages continue to roll in. Here are some of the latest to emerge, including one from Vince McMahon.

I’m shattered over Brodie’s passing. He was full of life with a wife & young children he loved. A devastating reminder of how fragile life is. Rest well, friend.#RIPBrodieLee pic.twitter.com/3p5BH18YIr
When I got stitched up months ago, Brodie was 1 of the first to check on me & ask if I was ok. I replied "I’m too old & beat up to actually get beat up & hurt. I’m fine."

That led to Brodie hitting me with his amazing trademark laughter & smile & this pic.
Rest In Power, Jon. pic.twitter.com/0nuY99LsIC
When i started wrestling I picked the name Brody not only for Bruiser Brody but also because of Brodie Lee. He was someone that truly pushed the boundaries of a big man wrestler .Though i never got to meet him I looked up to him not only as a wrestler but also a family man. RIP. https://t.co/Tp4kOX8yB9

Brodie Lee was amazing in the ring, but twice as good in the locker room, giving advice, being creative and setting an example of being a good fucking human being. pic.twitter.com/JgtNybOewt

From Mania 31. Walked around high school shouting YEAHYEAHYEAH. My brother took too many discus lariats. Showed my friends at summer camp Wyatt Family vignettes and matches to get them hooked. Wish I told you how much your work meant to me. Thank you Jon. #RIPBrodieLee pic.twitter.com/hq77aFOGDz

Before he’d leave to hit the next town or drive home, Brodie would almost always end the conversation with a joking “goodbye, forever.” I always rolled my eyes. As godawful as this has been, I’m glad I got to say goodbye. I never had a better friend.
