Vince McMahon Has Given Up The Ghost
On The Idea Of 'Sending The Fans Home Happy'
For weeks now, we've been told by report after report that Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title is going to be the final match at WrestleMania 33.
Well, as they always say, plans change.
Dave Meltzer reports on Wrestling Observer Radio that Vince McMahon has changed his mind and now should be arrested prematurely for inciting a riot, since that's what's going to happen on Sunday night.
Because now, Roman Reigns vs The Undertaker is going to go on last, and Roman is expected to win, and the chorus of boos will be heard from Camping World Stadium all the way to Tampa Bay.
Triple H himself has said that "70%" of the fans hate Reigns. JBL just thinks they're a bunch of crybabies, but Triple H understands. 70% of the fans, for whatever reason, seem to really dislike The Big Dog.
Putting him in the main event of his third straight WrestleMania, booking him to (probably) pin one of the most revered and beloved WWE Superstars OF ALL TIME clean as a whistling sheet in the middle of the ring, and rubbing it in the nose of 70% of the fans, that sure seems like a great way to engender support, does it not?
It also seems like a great way to get in the Guinness Book Of World Records for "Loudest Booing."
Unless of course, this means we're ending the night with a giant heel turn, or Braun Strowman interference leading to a Taker victory or something.
And yes, as they continue to say, plans could still change, but if things go according to the current plan, Reigns is going on last, and Reigns is going home victorious.
Also, just in case you'd like to really get paranoid about this whole thing, WWE has been seriously dropping hints about this being Taker's retirement match:
Sweet dreams tonight, everyone.
