The Von Erichs are coming to Texas for AEW's upcoming events.
As previously announced, AEW will hold the Path To All In Summer Series with events emanating from Esports Stadium Arlington beginning July 20. The series will include both AEW and ROH events.
Speaking on The Von Erich Podcast, Ross and Marshall teased that they would be making a big announcement, and they revealed that they would be returning to AEW for the company's upcoming shows in Texas.
"On Saturday, we will be returning to AEW. I don’t know if we can share the other dates. Next couple of Saturdays. It’s the 20th [of July]. We’re super pumped. We’re super excited," Marshall Von Erich said.
When asked to clarify that they had not signed a full contract but were just doing a run with the company, Marshall confirmed that they signed for a few matches. He noted that they would see what came out of it.
"Yeah, we signed some matches. We did sign for a few matches, but we’ll see what comes from this. Be ready for some more announcements and all that, but we’re gonna go down there and show them why when you’re in Texas, you have to have the Von Erichs," Marshall Von Erich said.
Ross shared his thoughts and noted that it was like a job interview, and it would also be special to have their fans there. He stated that they wanted to show AEW the bump that the Von Erichs can bring in Texas.
"When you go to a place like that, it’s almost like a job interview, basically. You have all your fans that have been there with you, and they’re cheering you…We keep saying it, man, the timing’s perfect. I just can’t wait for AEW to see the bump that the Von Erichs can bring in Texas and the support we have there," Ross Von Erich said.
The Von Erichs made their AEW debut on the December 15, 2023, episode of AEW Rampage. They also competed at ROH Final Battle and two sets of ROH on HonorClub tapings. The duo returned to AEW at the AEW Rampage taping on February 14.
As of this writing, AEW has not confirmed whether the Von Erichs will be at their events in Texas.
