After Wade Barrett was kicked out of The Nexus by CM Punk in 2011, Barrett formed The Corre with Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, and Ezekiel Jackson.

The group was short-lived, and Barrett has fond memories of the quartet.

The Corre disbanded five months after forming. They did enjoy some success as a group with Barrett winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship and Gabriel & Slater winning the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Barrett is currently the lead color commentator on WWE SmackDown alongside Corey Graves.
