The title bout is official.
NXT announced that Wes Lee will defend his NXT North American Championship against Mustafa Ali at NXT Great American Bash on July 30.
Ali issued the challenge on the July 4 episode of NXT after he picked up a victory over Tyler Bate.

Lee has been NXT North American Champion since NXT Halloween Havoc 2022 when he won the vacant title in a ladder match.
He has made 11 successful title defenses.
