While the hip-hop influence is evident in the Heels Have Eyes series, Gunn wanted to celebrate all of music and wrestling with the event.

"Right now, we're trying to book Fozzy. Hopefully, by the time ya'll hear this, you'll have already heard that Fozzy was there," Gunn told Peter Rosenberg on Real Late in an interview recorded before Heels Have Eyes III.

Smoke DZA added, "We're trying to get Judas live."

Unfortunately, according to those in attendance, Fozzy did not perform at the event.

Elsewhere during the interview, Gunn revealed he and Smoke did a theme for the Hurt Syndicate. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
