Wheeler Yuta has earned the respect of the Blackpool Combat Club.
On the April 8 episode of AEW Rampage, Jon Moxley faced off against ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta in the main event. This was Yuta’s third bout against either Moxley, Bryan Danielson, or both.
Yuta has made it clear that he wants to join the group, a fact which has caused a rift between him and Best Friends, particularly Trent Beretta. A few weeks ago, Yuta offered to shake the hand of William Regal but he was viciously chopped, being told that he still needed to earn their respect. Despite that, Regal hasn’t been shy to praise the young star when on commentary.
In a hard-hitting, bloody affair on Rampage, Yuta was choked out by Moxley, who was given everything he could handle. After the bell, Moxley, who had a stunned look on his face, was joined by Danielson and Regal. It was then that Regal offered his respect, shaking Yuta's hand. Wheeler took the blood from his head and wrote BCC on his chest before being told by Moxley that the real work starts now.
It has not been made official as to whether or not Yuta is now a member of the faction.
Seemingly the only way @JonMoxley could take out a defiant @WheelerYuta is by choking him unconscious in this absolute WAR on #AEWRampage on @tntdrama right now! pic.twitter.com/lDRw1qtKQF
