Ospreay came to the ring on the October 8th episode of AEW Dynamite and called out Callis. He demanded to know whether Callis had sent Takeshita to attack him. After initially evading the question, Callis admitted that he did, as Ospreay was mentally weak, and he stopped the Don Callis Family from getting the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Ospreay said that Callis was what everyone warned him about, as he was scum. He said that they were through.

Konosuke Takeshita then ran in and attacked Ospreay. Callis got involved, as did Kyle Fletcher, though Fletcher refused to use the screwdriver on Ospreay. Ricochet eventually made the save.

Ospreay will defend the AEW International Championship against Takeshita and Ricochet at AEW WrestleDream.
