Will Ospreay will face Buddy Matthews on the January 8 episode of AEW Dynamite, the second episode streaming on Max and simulcast on TBS.
The match was announced on social media.
Tony Khan framed the match by suggesting that Matthews was out for revenge after Ospreay eliminated Brody King from the 2024 Continental Classic Tournament. Matthews and King are members of the House of Black along with Julia Hart and Malakai Black.
