Will Ospreay thinks he'll end up staying with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
The former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion revealed back on April 26 that his deal with NJPW is up in February 2024. Ospreay has been with the promotion for nearly seven years at this point and has arguably became one of the biggest stars that the company has to offer.
Ospreay and Dark Puroresu Flowsion recently had a conversation about his upcoming free agency. Ospreay noted that he's fairly positive that he'll end up staying with NJPW, but he is interested in laying out all of his options on the table.
“I just wanna know what my options are, doesn’t mean I’m leaving NJPW. I’m fairly positive me & NJPW will work out a deal but in case we don't I want to provide for my family, wrestle how I wanna wrestle & most importantly be happy”

Ospreay hasn't wrestled for NJPW since March 13, where he defeated Mark Davis in a New Japan Cup tournament match. Ospreay was removed from the tournament after this match due to injury.
In a separate interview, Ospreay recently noted that his war with Kenny Omega isn't over yet. Fans can learn more here.
