Will Ospreay makes it clear that he has his sights set on Jon Moxley.
Former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley previously beat Will Ospreay at NJPW Windy City Riot 2022. The two stars clashed again at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18. There, David Finlay beat Moxley and Ospreay to win the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship.
In his post-match comments, Will Ospreay sent a message to Jon Moxley and warned him that a war is coming. He teased that it will be on Moxley's home turf.
“To Moxley, we are never gonna be done. I’m glad you stuck to your deal for those first five minutes. A deal’s a deal. Thanks a lot for that. But we are nowhere near done. You said you wanted a war? A war is coming to you, my friend, and it’s coming on home turf. So this time, make sure you keep your head on a swivel," Ospreay said.
Moxley previously said that he and Ospreay had barely begun. Check out his comments here.
Ospreay has signed with AEW, but he is finishing up with NJPW. At NJPW New Year Dash, Ospreay announced that his last NJPW match will be on February 11. More information is available here.
Ospreay and Moxley are both set for NJPW Battle in the Valley on January 13. Ospreay will face Kazuchika Okada, and Moxley agreed to face Shingo Takagi. More information is available here.
