Ricochet takes a shot at Will Ospreay.

AEW will return to Arthur Ashe Stadium for Grand Slam on September 25. AEW International Champion Will Ospreay took to Twitter/X to express his excitement as he noted that he wanted to perform there the first time he saw Bryan Danielson face Kenny Omega at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam 2021.

Ricochet responded with a brief message, as he told Ospreay that he would see him there. He also called Ospreay "little bro."

Ospreay and Ricochet have a lot of history, as they had some classic matches before Ricochet signed with WWE. Ospreay also openly expressed his interest in facing Ricochet again while his future with WWE seemed unclear throughout 2024. Ricochet then left WWE and signed with AEW, and he made his debut at AEW All In.

Ospreay briefly confronted Ricochet on the August 28th episode of AEW Dynamite, but PAC attacked him. At AEW All Out, Ospreay called out Ricochet, and he told him to start getting some wins. Ricochet responded by telling the champion that he would see him soon.
