Will Ospreay is headed to AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
Will Ospreay defeated Lance Archer in the finals of the IWGP US Title number one contenders tournament at NJPW Dominion to earn a shot at Kenny Omega and the IWGP US Title at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 25.
The finish saw Ospreay his Archer with the hidden blade.
After the bout, Ospreay called out Omega, saying he's going to walk into Canada and bring back the IWGP US Title.
Omega won the title from Ospreay at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17.
Ospreay earned his spot in the finals by defeating Hiroshi Tanahashi at NJPW Resurgence in the semifinals. Archer was originally scheduled to face Juice Robinson in the semifinals, but he was taken out by Fred Rosser. Rosser replaced Robinson at NJPW Collision In Philadelphia and Archer was victorious in their bout.
