Now, William Regal has explained why he is here.

On Wednesday, March 9, William Regal was in the corner of Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley as they defeated Anthony Henry and JD Drake, The Workhorsemen. After watching on at his students’ handy work and being very satisfied with the outcome, William Regal spoke for the first time in AEW.

Regal explained that after no longer being needed as the NXT General Manager, he was officially checked out of the world of wrestling after being involved for over three decades. That is until he heard that Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson were going to fight each other. That is when he knew he could return.

William Regal put over both of his pupils. He called Danielson, "the perfect wrestler" and everything that he never became due to the personal demons that he battled throughout his own life.

When it comes to Jon Moxley, Regal reminisces on the year that they spent feuding with one another in WWE and called Jon Moxley the perfect sadistic wrestler.

Regal ended his address by issuing a warning to everyone else in All Elite Wrestling, step up or get stepped on.
