William Regal Teaches BCC A Final Lesson, AEW Announces Return To Canada | AEW Fight Size

Here is your post-AEW Dynamite fight size update for Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

- In a preview of ROH Final Battle, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta faced Jake Hager and Daniel Garcia. Castagnoli and Yuta scored the win. After the bell, Tony Schiavone shared footage of an interview with William Regal, who explained that he knew the Blackpool Combat Club didn't need him anymore, so he wanted to teach the group one final lesson at AEW Full Gear. By helping MJF beat Jon Moxley, he hoped to show the faction that they need to have eyes in the backs of their heads. Regal said he's Blackpool Combat Club for life and seemingly said goodbye.

- During the show, the broadcast team announced that AEW will return to Canada with a Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite on March 14. The show will be held at the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg.

- Jon Moxley responded to Regal's message by saying that he, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta live and breathe for professional wrestling. He stated that professional wrestling is about to make a serious statement. Earlier in the show, Moxley said that he and the Blackpool Combat Club want to move on from the Jericho Appreciation Society. He said he's starting to like Hangman Page, and the former champion knows where to find him.

- In the main event, The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) defeated FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

- After FTR's loss, The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn) told them that they will be defending the ROH World Tag Team Championship in a Double Dog Collar Match against The Briscoes at ROH Final Battle.

- Dynamite kicked off with the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale. Ricky Starks scored the win by last eliminating Ethan Page.

- AEW World Champion MJF and Ricky Starks went back and forth. MJF called Ricky Starks "The Pebble" and a Dollar Store Dwayne before he took a shot at Starks' past with the NWA. Starks fired back by insulting MJF's clothes and his "cheap heat". He said he'll shut MJF up next week, and the champion low-blowed him, but Starks drilled him with a Spear.

- Samoa Joe defended the TNT Championship against Darby Allin. Joe attacked Allin after the bell, but Wardlow made the save.

- The House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews) declared that AEW is corrupt due to treason, and the punishment is extermination. They told anyone who has a problem with them to step up.

- Orange Cassidy agreed to defend the AEW All-Atlantic Championship against Kip Sabian, but Sabian turns down the offer. Cassidy tells him to find someone who will face him.

- In a video message, ROH World Champion Chris Jericho vowed to beat Claudio Castagnoli at ROH Final Battle.

- In an interview, AEW Women's World Champion Jamie Hayter announced that the winner of Hikaru Shida vs. The Bunny on Friday's episode of AEW Rampage will earn a title shot against her.

- In a digital exclusive, Ethan Page and Matt Hardy kept arguing. Page blamed Hardy for his loss in the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale. He said he's fining Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen), and the duo had to restrain Matt when he tried to attack Page.
