Winner Of Dolph Ziggler And Baron Corbin Will Be Added To Fastlane Main Event

Shane McMahon made a match for next week with championship implications.

On Smackdown, AJ Styles caused a no contest in the main event between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. Styles was supposed to face the winner at WWE Fastlane for his WWE World Championship. After the no contest, Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan declared Styles would defend his title in a triple threat match.

On Thursday morning, Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon announced there would be a fourth wrestler added to the match. McMahon said Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin will face off next week on Smackdown for the chance at Styles' championship. The Corbin and Ziggler matchup was previously announced this week but without the stipulation.

An unexpected end to #SDLive with a triple threat match made for #WWEFastlane...I’m going to make a bit more interesting.

Next week: @BaronCorbinWWE vs. @HEELZiggler. The winner is added to the match and makes it a #Fatal4Way for the @WWE title.

Since WWE Hell in a Cell, McMahon has been feuding with Zayn and Owens. On television, Bryan and McMahon have had tensions and arguments about how each of them has been treating Zayn and Owens. At WWE Royal Rumble, Bryan scheduled a championship handicap match which involved Styles facing the team of Zayn and Owens.

Ziggler last wrestled during the Royal Rumble match. It was his first appearance since vacating the WWE United States Championship. Corbin recently beat Tye Dillinger on Smackdown in a ten-minute match. Before the Royal Rumble match, Corbin was feuding with Royal Rumble winner Shinsuke Nakamura
