Carmella and Liv Morgan are going to go one-on-one at WWE Extreme Rules 2021.
For several weeks, Carmella has been embracing her beauty. it was at the end of 2020 when she declared herself to be the most beautiful woman in WWE but since the return to live touring for WWE, Carmella has doubled down on her vanity even taking time out of SmackDown just to admire her beauty while Liv Morgan watched from the background, growing increasingly annoyed with her polar opposite rival.
On Friday, September 17, Morgan got the better of Carmella, sending her face-first into the middle turnbuckle during a tag team match. Carmella would immediately freak out, assuming her nose was broken, and take a count-out loss for her and Zelina Vega.

Responding to Carmella walking out, Liv Morgan would challenge Carmella to a match at Extreme Rules saying that if she accepts, she will make Carmella as ugly on the outside as she is on the inside. Later, in the trainer's room concerned about her non-injury, Carmella would accept the challenge to meet Liv Morgan at WWE Extreme Rules on Sunday, September 26.
