The Grand Slam tournament will kick off next Wednesday.
The announcement for the tournament was made on the August 30 episode of AEW Dynamite. While the majority of the field is currently unknown, Roderick Strong entered himself into the tournament on Dynamite, citing that he's going to do what Adam Cole couldn't do, and defeat MJF for the AEW World Championship.

The winner of the tournament will face MJF for the AEW World Championship at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam, which will take place on September 20, 2023.
