ESPN's run of airing past WrestleMania shows continue to draw solid viewership numbers.
WrestleMania 32 aired on ESPN on March 29 and the broadcast averaged 720,000 viewers and a 0.44 household rating, per Showbuzz Daily. This is down from the 839,000 viewers a replay of WrestleMania 30 averaged when it aired on ESPN on March 22.
In the 18-49 demographic, WrestleMania 32 on ESPN averaged 326,000 viewers and a 0.25 rating, which is 38th best on cable for March 29.
The show culminated in Roman Reigns defeating Triple H to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. In addition, Charlotte defeated Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks to win the WWE Women's Championship and The Undertaker came out victorious against Shane McMahon in a Hell in a Cell match. The show also featured appearances from John Cena, The Rock, Diamond Dallas Page and Shaquille O'Neal.
The run of past WrestleMania shows airing on ESPN will end on April 5 when the network airs last year's WrestleMania 35 event. This year's WrestleMania 36 will take place at the WWE Performance Center with no fans in attendance on April 4 and 5. Fightful will have live coverage of both nights for WrestleMania 36 with a post-show podcast.
